    Emirates expands Canadian presence with new daily service to Montreal

    Emirates celebrated the maiden voyage of its first passenger flight to Quebec’s vibrant cultural hub, Montreal, marking the airline’s second gateway in Canada. The inaugural Emirates flight EK243 took to the skies at 0300hrs, carrying 340 passengers, including a VIP delegation and members of the media.

    Emirates expands Canadian presence with new daily service to Montreal

    This new daily service to Montreal enhances Emirates’ Canadian operations, supplementing its seven weekly flights to Toronto. This expansion takes the airline’s North American network to 14 destinations, and a cumulative total of 18 across the Americas. The new route will facilitate enhanced connectivity to Canada via Dubai for travelers originating from a range of locations, such as India, Iran, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and South Africa among others.

    Direct flights between Dubai and Montreal aim to cater to a varied demographic that includes business and leisure travelers, as well as Canadians residing and working in the UAE visiting family and friends back home. Given Montreal’s reputation as a home to world-class universities, the service is anticipated to attract a significant number of students from the Central Asia, Middle East, West and the Far East.

    For the daily service, Emirates will operate its three-class Boeing 777-300ER on the Dubai-Montreal route. The aircraft features eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class, and over 300 spacious seats in Economy Class, promising a comfortable travel experience for its passengers.
